Despite the restaurants’ claims of their fast delivery times, most students are often upset about how long it takes for their food to reach them. With most of the restaurants only 10 minutes away, some of the Quinnipiac community has been left frustrated.

This map illustrates the locations and ratings of delivery restaurants near Quinnipiac University.

Many students expressed their thoughts about this issue through a student survey. The survey asked about students’ favorite restaurants, delivery times, and the quality of the food. Students were allowed to choose more than one answer for the question about their favorite places to eat.

These graphs show the results of anonymous respondents, reached through social media, that attend Quinnipiac University. They were able to respond about multiple restaurants, and most answers showed that the students had ordered from a multitude of different delivery options.

Students were able to choose the estimated delivery time their food usually takes, from their personal experiences.

“There is no reason that it should take over an hour and a half to make a wrap and a milkshake, and [some restaurants] are literally less than half a mile away,” one survey respondent complained.

Most respondents used the survey as a way to complain about their experiences, but also voice their concerns about the system.

“It seems as though they may take advantage of us as students; I’ve had bad experiences where part of the order was “forgotten”/”misplaced,” but was paid for in advance,” one student explained.

“Better food quality is essential,” noted one student in the survey.
