I’ve been telling people all summer that you can find me at the pool if you need me. How can I swim daily, ride my bike, take time off to hike in the forest, kayak, grow a garden, join the pottery club, write daily, and earn money with a digital marketing business?

Most of us have been programmed to believe that any side hustle will require long nights, weekends, and burning the candle at both ends for several years before the money appears.

But after years of burnout and striving, I made a deal with God. I would work an online business that didn’t require me to hustle long days and weekends or be glued to social media.

And it had to pay decent money—no more of this toiling for pennies on the dollar.

Yes, I know I was looking for a unicorn, which likely didn’t exist. However, one day, I noticed that my friend’s Facebook posts were different. She was talking about actual income streams. She was not stressed out and was having fun with a new business in digital marketing.
