Human love
How terrifying is it to love
Something that death can touch?
How horribly cruel and meaningful,
Right?
Humans are awfully complex creatures,
I find it quite funny how beautifully
Wonderfully, weird we all are,
Aren’t we?
The one in four trillion chance to be born,
The improbable odds of existence and
Yet you and I are still like the same,
We’re all just human.
Our DNA lives faithfully in each of us,
The way it can never be created again no matter
How many years, decades, or centuries pass,
Our atoms will hold us in them.
While I’ve never known what it’s like to love a boy,
I know what it is like to love a human
Even if I know nothing about them,
And maybe that’s silly to you.
But everybody is deserving of love,
So, I love you too.
