God Made Everything Beautiful In Its Time

When I receive this flower-in-a-pot, only one bud bloomed. The merchant said this plant would only last for a month. More than a year later, it blossomed so beautifully. I often use flowers as metaphors. So if you are reading this, there are a few things I want to tell you:

Just because it didn’t work the first time, doesn’t mean it’s a failure. Sometimes the right season hasn’t come yet. Be patient.

If people tell you that you will not make it, remember that even experts can be wrong at times. Don’t let others define you.

God made everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Don’t be pressured by the breakthroughs of others. Focus on your own journey and growth while you delight yourself in the Lord. You’ll see how beautiful your story can become.

Flowers don’t compare themselves with other flowers around them. They just bloom. You are most beautiful when you are being yourself. Stop comparing yourself with others. Celebrate who you are because you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

A lot of times you need space to grow. Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. It may be uncomfortable at first, but you’ll eventually see how it will expand your knowledge, experience, territory, and influence.

Things may not happen according to your own timeline. But trust the One who holds time. He knows when to unfold your story.
