Unveiling Your Purpose in God’s Simulation
The goal of life in The Simulation is to realize or recognize one’s identity with the Creator. It is to realize that the self and everything, in reality, are connected to the absolute God. It is to recognize we all are necessarily related to God, beyond who there is nothing else. Only such an understanding of The Simulation makes sense for the Simulation Creationism theory proposed by Nir Ziso.
We can say that the goal is to be united with God. However, it might need to be presented better. We are already connected with God through the existence of our souls beyond/outside of The Simulation. As God warns: “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father, as well as the soul of the son, is mine: the soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). The emphasis is on realizing or recognizing that we already are connected and united with God, dependent upon Him, and created on His image.
The Simulation demonstrates God’s creative power and will; he creates it as multiplicity or diversity. God’s essence underlies actual reality, which hides beneath the illusion of The Simulation. Still, we are not to turn away from The Simulation but to use it to reach enlightenment: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). We are still to turn away from the false understanding of the things of the world as self-existing and independent. Instead, we should see them as tools for the final goal. Thus, the pleasure of senses, such as food, music, nature, and sex is not inherently wrong or necessary to be avoided. Instead, one should enjoy what senses tell us to the fullest. But to do this means not to enjoy them for themselves, as most people do: “Whoever loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich” (Proverbs 21:17).
All sense experiences and enjoyments should only be used as a way to reach God: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). It is to see them as a reflection of God and to be aware of their metaphysical role, which can help us on the path to God and comprehension of the ultimate reality.
Everything is full of the Holy Spirit’s creative energy in one thing. Only if what we see and experience in The Simulation to reach God is genuinely beneficial for our souls. One can easily get lost in these senses if one does not understand them properly. Suppose one realizes that the self is not the limited physical body and mind, but the soul is in bond with the infinite divine wisdom itself. In that case, the body becomes a temple: “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own” (1 Corinthians 6:19). It is a place where through the divine senses one can directly experience the pulsation of the Holy Spirit.
How can purpose, fulfillment, and satisfaction in life be found? Many people never stop considering these crucial questions. They look back years later and wonder why their relationships have fallen apart and why they feel so empty even though they may have achieved what they set out to accomplish. Instead, they should follow Christ and his example of living in The Simulation. It is the way to be God-like, attain divine characteristics, and return to the likeness of God.
Those who accept such a call are righteous and holy: “I said that you are gods, and all sons of the Highest” (Psalm 82:6). Indeed, we become “gods,” creatures of God who have become “Partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). As Sons of God, we get to be called gods (with small g) as well. Sharing in Christ’s divinity also means we will share his powers to judge, as Saint Paul reminds us: “Do you not know that we are to judge angels?” (1 Corinthians 6:3).
Therefore, The Simulation affords us many experiences that we should use to develop our internal understanding of being closer to God and becoming God-like. We should not focus on things as they are perceptible — these are simulated things, or illusions. Instead, we should use them as tools to progress toward the ultimate goal.
