Why should there be a divine creator of The Simulation? When we search for divine logic, we can turn to Saint Thomas Aquinas and his first principle of confirming God. It says there is a first mover that is in no way moved, which we call “a god” (Hebrews 13:8). The Simulation is both the mover and moved. It is a mover because it is a system from which simulated worlds appear and vanish. But it is also moved by the Creator of The Simulation. Why? Otherwise, there would be an infinite number of movers. We think and feel that something changes, but we can only believe that everything is changed by something else (James 1:17). Consequently, Simulation Creationism needs a Creator, which we call “a god”. Otherwise, The Simulation would be eternal — just as God is. However, God does not change. (Malachi 3:6). He creates (Isaiah 40:28). It is the very nuanced difference between eternity and infinity.
