Video — Order and Perfection of God’s Simulation

The Simulation consists of a diversity of simulated things. God wants things to differ from each other and to be many when presenting the simulated environment to us as observers. No single creature can adequately represent God’s goodness (1 Corinthians 1:25). Separate beings are therefore unequal, and through their degrees of goodness, the perfection of The Simulation is realized (Romans 12:2). They are simulated manifestations of God’s existence in a simulated way. We distinguish beings that die, or the simulating code deletes them, and beings that cannot cease to exist, meaning the souls and angels (2 Peter 3:9). The perfection of The Simulation requires precisely this inequality in degrees of goodness: certain beings can be unproductive in the good (Psalm 34:14). God in his providence does not prevent evil because by preventing some particular evils that come from certain things, he would destroy their nature, which is such that it can be unproductive and can fail in good (2 Thessalonians 5:15).
