Video — The Role of God’s Providence in The Simulation

Providence is a knowledge that immediately sees everything. This attribute includes both knowledge and will because it refers to knowing the means if they are in the form of a purpose (Romans 8:28). It is a plan or idea of bringing everything to divine goodness (Jeremiah 29:11). Creation is the divine art by which God simulates things and sorts them according to different degrees. Providence is the practical knowledge of their orientation towards purposefulness (Proverbs 16:9). All things, both universal and particular, necessarily fall under God’s providence because God is the first and universal cause of all reality. Particular causes may not achieve their effect due to the action of another particular cause, but nothing can escape the order of the universal cause in The Simulation. Therefore, everything must be subject to divine providence (Genesis 50:20). A soul is always subordinate to God’s providence (Isaiah 14:24).
