Happy Children’s Book Week!

Children’s Book Week has officially started, and that means:

  • Trips to the library and bookstores
  • Lots of book-related freebies
  • A fun challenge for the kiddos
  • Reading all week long!

This event is a fun way to celebrate the joy of literature with your young readers. To kick off the event, you can gift your children a new book — for free! And all without leaving the comfort of your home. If you don’t have children, spread the word to someone who does. I guarantee they will thank you!

How to Get Your Free E-book

Cindy Samul is helping get young readers excited to read by offering a free ebook version of her book, Snowman Amuck.

What’s the catch?

The catch is…more free stuff! All you have to do is sign up for her (also free!) newsletter, “Fun Stuff.” Click here to sign up. Samul gets your support, and you get access to giveaways, printable activities, snowman crafts, and other fun stuff. It’s a win-win!

This offer will only be available until November 13th, so don’t wait too long to sign up!

What is Snowman Amuck

Snowman Amuck is a full-color, comic-style book written for children 6 and up about a boy named Jack and a snowman who sneaks into his house while his parents are not home. Stuck outside, Jack has to figure out how to get back into his house where the snowman is waiting to try to kick him out forever. Samul describes the book as “humorous and a little bit scary.”

The book has been featured on the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Recommended Reading List.
