Crypto Designathon — Ark Social Bounty Campaign
At the beginning of this month we announced the extended time for our “Ark x Ethereum Design Competition” which is aimed at bringing open source graphics, media banners and illustrations to both the Ethereum and Ark communities. In return we have a prize pool of over $4,000 paid in Ark / Eth which is split between two pools and three winning places for each pool. In order to promote the art competition and get as many people interested and aware of it, we wanted to put together a bounty campaign that could be fun and rewarding for those who can help us spread the word. This article should let everyone know what they can do to help us and how they can claim the bounty set.
How To Enter The Bounty Campaign
We want to involve everyone together even those who aren’t artists, to spread the word about the competition and in doing so, win some Ark & Merch. This is why we’re launching a Social Bounty campaign to reward everyone who helps get the competition to those who would want to enter. This campaign ends on the 15th November, whilst the Art competition runs till the 30th November to ensure artists have a decent amount of time to put together some designs. To get involved with the bounty campaign read below:
Step 1: Decide which platforms you want to share our competition on, the mediums we are allowing are: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & Messaging Chats like Discord, Slack, Telegram.
Step 2: The information that we want you to share is the link and the image that are attached below. If you can only share one of the two then please use the link, if you can use both then that’s even better:
Step 3: Post! Make sure to post the competition, include a nice summary of our competition and try to get as much engagement / feedback as possible. Remember to provide the article link and image above to your post!
Step 4: Use this Google Form below to link to the post (in the event you cannot link then upload an image as proof and preferably some way we can verify this). If you are posting to Twitter, or other social media then attach the sharing link so we can check. If you’re posting on a messaging board then upload an image of you sharing the competition and link the messaging board so we can join and check if possible (if not then please attach good images!) Make sure to fill out the details following all the rules in the description of the form (The Form Can Be Accessed By Clicking Here if the popup does not work) :
Weekly Limit
You are allowed to enter the bounty once per week for each social media and messaging platform, so for example tweeting about the competition can be done once every week until the end of the Bounty Campaign (15th November). Each time you will need to create a new post and provide evidence via the Google Form. However:
You can post on multiple social platforms each week, providing each time you use the form to allow us to check you have spread the word. The max amount of contributions each week per person is five contributions!
So you can share on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook all in one week and fill out the Google Form for each share. However you cannot use the same social platform or messaging board twice in a week, as this will only be seen as one entry and only one Bounty will be paid. Remember you also cannot go over the five post limit as this will be capped up to this point. A “week” consists of the time you send your first share and will reset exactly every Monday morning at 0:00 am (UTC).
Bounty Prizes
The rewards for a valid entry using the Google Form are as such:
1 Ark — Reward for each share on social media or a messaging platform
1 Ark — Extra Bonus for those who hit the five contributions per week!
10 Ark —Weekly Reward for the person who creates the post with the most engagement and traction for that specific week. We will be checking and awarding using our best judgement.
Sticker Set — Monthly Reward for the person who enters the Bounty Program the most over the course of the entire month.
The Crypto Mythos Ark Edition Set — A juicy reward for the person who gets the most engagement overall on their posts throughout the entire competition. We will be tracking how well posts do and tallying this up to reveal a winner at the end of the bounty campaign. They’ll be receiving these two amazing designs:
Example Entry:
Share On Twitter, Facebook, Instagram for week beginning 24th September. This nets a reward of 3 Ark for the week.
Example Combination Of Invalid Double Entry & Valid Entry:
Bob enters the bounty by sharing the link on Twitter on the 25th September at 2pm, he then posts on Facebook on the 26th September at 4pm. Then on the 28th September he posts again on Twitter. This would net Bob 2 Ark instead of 3 Ark because he posted on Twitter twice in the same week. His first entry on Twitter was valid and so was his Facebook entry but the second Twitter entry was invalid.
Example Weekly Entry:
Bob enters the bounty by posting on Facebook on the 25th September at 2pm, Twitter on the 26th September at 4pm and Instagram on the 27th September at 5pm. Bob will be able to enter the bounty again via all platforms on Monday 1st October.
Example Over Entry:
Bob enters the bounty by posting on Twitter on the 25th September at 2pm, Facebook on the 26th September at 4pm and Instagram on the 27th September at 5pm. Bob then posts on a Discord chat and Slack chat on the 28th of September. He then finally posts on Telegram on the 29th. Bob will be only eligible to receive 6 Ark instead of 7 Ark because there is a cap of 5 contributions per week!
Example Cap Bonus:
Bob enters the bounty by posting on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Slack & Discord in one week. In doing so he makes 5 Ark for all of the entries and finally an extra 1 Ark for hitting the cap for that week. Bob can then enter again next week.
Bounty Payment Schedule
Bounties will be paid at the end of each month and we will be tweeting the schedule and more information on our TGH Society Twitter so make sure to follow and keep up to date with the bounty campaign!
Guidelines
In order to get the best engagement try to target artists and designers who would be interested in the art competition. Remember you are not sharing the bounty competition but the art competition which has been running since August. Your posts will trend better and therefore be more likely to win the big prize if you manage to engage with the art and crypto demographic.
Posts should use hashtags and try to evoke emotional response or comments as this will help them do better. It’s recommended that each week when entering to create a unique post instead of re-using an old post as otherwise this could be seen as spam by those viewing it.
Post Examples
Terms & Conditions
You are not allowed to create multiple accounts and spam entries in order to collect bounties. We will be checking every entry for uniqueness and if we deem there to be cheating we reserve the right to not pay the bounty.
There is a maximum cap of 2,500 Ark which if hit, the bounty will end and the winning art prizes will be given to those in the winning position up until this point.
Cheating will not be tolerated and if entries are caught going against our rules then we reserve the right to not pay the bounty.
