The Serpent’s Kiss
The waves crashed against the boat, water lapped at the feet of a viking who stood alone in the belly of the wooden ship. His destination was fast approaching and he knew that soon the fate of the world could change forever. In the distance a pillar stood tall, isolated and alone in the middle of the ocean, it’s shape had been moulded over time and it’s age was clearly on show.
Tasked with saving the pillar of Ark from the beast known as Jörmungandr, the viking was preparing for a battle that wouldn’t be easy, failure would result in a world far different from the one he is fond of. The sun beat down it’s rays onto the waves and the ocean’s breeze gave way to the sound of thunder off in the distance.
Looking up the viking could see the beast upon the horizon, it’s white glowing eyes pierced through the veil of mist that had accumulated over the sea. The salty humid air held an eery suspense, almost if the gods where preparing for the battle that was about to be undertaken. As the distance between both forces shortened, the skies turned grey as if the sunny day was a distant memory and rain fell down onto the world below.
Jörmungandr unfurled it’s long snake like body and lashed out towards the viking, teeth poised to decimate flesh and bone in one strike. The viking took a long deep breath, took up arms and seeing the beast hurl towards him, dashed towards the front of the boat. His legs worked in unison, propelling him forwards at a great pace and in the blink of an eye our hero took off, suspended in mid air with a grimace on his face and an axe at hand. The fate of the world hung in the balance..
The Serpent’s Kiss is a design from our Crypto Mythos design line. In this line we’re combining mythology and cryptocurrency to create a theme that not only is a great talking piece for your home but has a deep narrative background.
