Do your make-up right

While each and every one is beautiful in their own way, a little bit of make-up never hurt anyone. One must however get the basics right to ensure that you don’t go overboard. Make-up professional Priyanka Negi gives you some do’s and dont’s that you need to stick to while doing makeup.
 · Know Your Skin: Before you go shopping for your makeup products, you must know your skin type. Know your skin type, which colours suits you, what kind of range is available and in what brand.

· Moisturize: Never ever forget to mositurize your skin. Before you go with that base application moisturize your face, neck and lips well.
 · Right foundation: Never choose a foundation lighter or darker than your original skin tone. The right way to check the foundation is not on just cheeks or hands but you must blend and check it on your cheeks, neck and forehead area too.
 · Concealers: Another product which we all often go wrong is with concealers. This must always be one or two shades lighter than your foundation colour. Ensure that your concealer is not turning your under eye area grey and is only helping you brighten it.
 · Primer: Before you start with your eye-makeup. Check if you have darker lids. Using eye primers or simply going with your concealer over your eyelid will cover the discoloration of your eyelids.

· Lipsticks: Even if you don’t use lipstick regularly adding a colour to your lips can actually brighten your face. Go bold with red, pinks or go subtle with nudes and brown the choice is yours. Let your lips tell your mood.
 · Eyebrows : Ensure that you are not overdoing the eyebrows. Brows that are overdrawn or too harsh or too dark can make one look over age. Just filling your eyebrows with black or brown matt powder is one of the best way to make your eyebrows.
 · Eyelash: One of the most ignored part of your face are your lashes. Mascara helps in opening up your eyes and making them look bigger.
