Vocation - Week 12

I think finding your vocation or calling in life is such an important thing in a person. We all travel through life looking for purpose and happiness. A person’s true calling will hold both of these things for them. I believe a calling to be made up of one’s own deepest internal passions and desires as well one’s environment throughout their life. Finding it is a different journey for everyone, and some unfortunately never do. There will be people that have to try out several different things before they find it, people who just know what they want to do and find it immediately, and people who will wander and drift until they eventually stumble into it. Whatever path or journey it requires, findig your vocation is such an important part of life. It is the motivation to get out of bed every day, the idea that you have a purpose. In purpose, we can find some happiness.
