i think what Epictetus point was timing is everything. And that in life we should accept things that are out of our control. I stand by this because everything happens for a reason. it’s normal for someone to feel disappointment, sad or angry when finding out they can’t control something however it’s important to except the fact that you eventually you will feel better about the situation. I stand by the everything happens for a reason quote because everything that you do in life has an affect to it. It empowers you to create meaning from the tragedies and setbacks you experienced in life. I believe everything that everything you do in life has meaning, you might not know it at the time, but soon later you will. so whatever life throws at us, we just have to be prepared for it. you have to be able to accept it, to process it and to learned from it.
