The Good Life: Spring 2024

For this blog I really want to talk about how the word “resonance” was used repeatedly, the true meaning of the word, and how to use this information in our daily lives to usure we have a “good life”. If you look up what the word resonance in literature means, you will find that it is often used to the quality of having an intensity of emotion or richness of expression that evokes or reinforces a sympathetic response. When you get towards the end of the reading it says that there is no guarantee that we will be able to resonate with anything or anyone. We often try to control things that we don’t have the power to control. What we do have control over is the outcome after the transformation it put us through. Some people try to adjust themselves just to resonate with someone but it’s not possible and can not be controlled like that. In the reading it says people try to adjust socially, spiritually, temporally, and atmospheric backgrounds. I think that a step to having a “good life” or better life would be to accept the fact that resonance isn’t controllable and focus more on the aspect of how you can move forward from the situation.
