Who Is Pastor Mike?

The Man Behind “The Gospel Conversation”

Mike was born and raised in the suburbs (Mechanicsville) of Richmond, Virginia before moving to Charlottesville, VA to study physics at the University of Virginia in 2011.

There, Mike found Jesus (and his future wife, Lawrencia) through Chi Alpha campus ministry and discovered the call of God on his life.

After graduating in 2015, Mike moved to Jogjakarta, Indonesia to serve with a team focused on reaching the campus.

Today, Mike and Lawrencia live and work as pastors at an international church (English Worship Jogja) in Jogjakarta, Indonesia with their three boys.

Mike is passionate about abiding in Jesus and helping others become more disciplined in their walk with God.
