I began this series wondering if the Deconstruction movement was a part of the Great Falling Away. It’s also because I am greatly concerned about the state of our churches today — in that it is so divided. It wasn’t until quite recently that I realized that I have undergone my own “deconstruction” over the years because of my anger against God.

Honestly, after watching what’s currently transpiring across the world, I have to wonder how can we NOT be amid the Great Falling Away.

If this phenomenon has been taking place in a few regions of the planet, I’d say, Nah. But this is happening EVERYWHERE. It’s global. It has affected every single church and every single person on earth. People are openly rebelling against God including those who have professed to be Christians.

The Bible has foretold this — it has to happen before the Antichrist can be revealed. Why? Because of this rebellion against God and our faith in Him will man be the most easily deceived. Why? Because we no longer see the Truth — only what we want to see. Because we now believe the Scripture as just another book written by men.

Sadly, people can no longer distinguish the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian based on their lifestyles.

As a believer, how can you NOT see what is happening?

2 Thessalonians 2:10–11 (AMP)

And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth [of the Gospel] so as to be saved [they were spiritually blind, and rejected the truth that would have saved them]. Because of this God will send upon them a misleading influence, [an activity of error and deception] so they will believe the lie.

One of the reasons why I created this publication, The Gospeler, is that I want to look more closely at what is the Gospel — the one all Christians should be following — the one that should be uniting the Church rather than dividing — and how we should be living it.
