Welcome to The Government We Need, a new podcast that will explore the government of the future and how it can best serve everyone, hosted by Jessica Carsten and Luke Fretwell.
We won’t be shy about digging into untapped issues, deep questions and brave, new ideas facing the public sector. There may not be right answers, consensus or perfect solutions, but we hope to spark discussions with a sense of curiosity, empathy, openness and optimism.
We will create a dialog that reassesses how government works today, and how it can accelerate the optimal change in our world. We also hope to debunk myths about what government does and what it is “supposed to be like.”
