If Laila Ali had some tough competition while she was in boxing, she might would have been boxing today. Like her father, I believe that she was before her time, and that’s why she’s not fighting now. Laila has done a smart thing by not waiting around. She doesn’t have to worry that all she knows is boxing. Laila knows how to do more than just box. Just in case she decides to go back to the ring one day, I hope that she works out in the gym and continue to practice in the ring. That’s how she can stay in shape, and she should never lose her touch.
