MuseFind CEO Challenges Influencers to “Start a Team and Get Involved!”
Great Climate Race team profile: 5 Questions with MuseFind’s CEO Jennifer Li
- Tell us about your company’s Great Climate Race team
“We did this interesting branding exercise where we asked everyone on the team; ‘if MuseFind was a person, what colour would they be? Orange, Yellow, Green… what words would you describe them… our top three (would characterize our team as aggressive, transparent & direct). While we didn’t pick a colour, we feel good about having a culture we call “scrappy.” We’re not big on accepting no for an answer; wins always come down to digging, discovering and knowing more.”
- Why are you in the Great Climate Race?
“We love supporting other Vancouver startups; and more importantly, the race is such a great cause. As a team we see ourselves as being impactful beyond just software. It was Charlie from our sales-team (aka “the wolfpack”) who drove the initiative to participate in the race as a company. We encourage our team members to take on meaningful projects beyond the day to day goals of MuseFind. This was an easy one to get everyone on board with.”
- Why join the MuseFind team?
“We’re an awesome group of people, super friendly, and if you’re a straightforward no BS person, and loves creating big things without the fear of making mistakes, you’ll be a great fit.”
Jen’s doing a virtual 10km somewhere around NYC. You can join the team in person at the main event in Vancouver or via the virtual race from wherever you are online.

- Do you have a message for other teams in the Great Climate Race?
“Beyond supporting a meaningful cause; I’d love to challenge other startup founders to think about how they can encourage their teams to take on more leadership roles. And hey, our team will probably kick your teams ass!”
- Why join a team in general or get out start your own team?
“If you’re an influencer in business, in the startup community, on social media, we’d love to challenge you to start a team and get involved. This is proof that Vancouver’s a leader on the issues that matter, it’s more than just talk, and there’s people like Ben and Mari who care enough about our environment they’re will to put so much effort into making this happen!
Get off the sidelines, and get out raise some money, raise some awareness, and enjoy a great run!”
