The Great Escape Island Challenge as seen through the eyes of a participant

“Imagine yourself as part of a team that is whipping around the island having fun with the locals, asking questions, bribing locals with lollies, thinking of fun creative ways to take the funniest, best, most creative photo that is going to win points. Where should I go now — police station, red cross or into the nearest vineyard? Whew, then deciding what will get the biggest laugh with your challenge. Making sure the team doesn’t divert too far from the main roads.... Keeping an eye on the time cos I don’t want to lose points for being late. Next minute one of the team has spotted a friendly looking local so we approach him and ask if he would mind … after a strange look but reassuring him we not a bunch of crazy people, he enthusiastically agrees!

It made us feel like we are closer, know each other a little better as we’ve been through something fun and challenging experiences together.

Overall a fun rewarding experience together where we started as individual colleagues who worked together and ended as more bonded team.”
