BEHOLD! FOR THE MIGHT OF THE LORD IS AT HAND
Was the beginning of an event that will come to pass on Vanatu revealed to Ray Elkins 46 years ago, in 1971?
Was it a warning of what may come?
Ray had been given a vision he did not understand. A few days later, February 20, 1971, the spiritual messengers of God, Aka, explained the revelation to those who were listening: “We should say these words, a new eruption shall come about. You are feeling the beginning of this time. In soul Ray’s mind, the day of the 26th of this month has been very important. I think thy should now know and have felt why.
“Take care of thy seeds. Take care of thy seed that thy should plant in the ground and in the womb of a woman, that it may grow and become one of God’s people, for the souls that shall enter shall become part of God’s great army of your earth.” [See The Revelation, chapter 19.]
The Smithsonian archives of volcanic activity (24 February 1971) reported four days later: “Explosive eruption on 22 February builds island.”
“Submarine volcano Karua erupted strongly 22 February 1971….By 1030 23 February no activity at all except very minor water turbulence. Island of cinders about 200 x 70 m built to about 1 m above high tide mark.”
On March 1, 1971, the Smithsonian continued: “Although activity of…22 February was reported to be much stronger than the last time an island was formed in 1959, eruption ceased quickly after only 1.5 hours. No recurrence of volcanic activity to 1000 local time 26 February, but series of earthquakes felt on Tongoa 5 km south of Karua (on Vanatu).
Was this the new eruption Ray felt about an island that would be built? Or is it more significant than the small island that did appear then in 1971?
Are we seeing a sign in the news, September 28, 2017, as Vanatu orders full evacuation this week while a volcano threatens to erupt? And again October 21, 2017, as Tinakula erupts there?
Then, on January 8, 2023, a large M7.2 earthquake struck the West Pacific at Vanuatu. A couple of days before, an M6.0 deep earthquake hit next to it, down below the Indo-Australian continental plate boundary with the Pacific Continental plate.
On November 21, 2023, a magnitude 7.0 quake on a Pacific plate boundary of the “Ring of Fire” struck the Vanuatu region in the South Pacific.
Could this vision and the earthquakes that follow relate to what was prophesied long ago that will happen before the Messiah comes?
Yet, there was an ever bigger volcanic eruption near Indonesia that affected the whole earth, bringing a global ice age in the 1800s that lasted years. Low sunlight and freezing temperatures caused crops not to grow; many died of famine.
The eruption of Krakatoa, or Krakatau, in August 1883 was one of the most deadly volcanic eruptions of modern history. Twenty-million tons of sulfur were released into the atmosphere. The eruption caused a five-year temperature drop of 1.2 °C (2.2 °F) worldwide. It is estimated that more than 36,000 people died.
The island of Krakatau is in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra.
It is part of the Indonesian Island Arc, 4,217 miles to the west of Vanatu, on an imaginary line just north of Australia running east to west.
Was this why the the vision Ray had in 1971 was significant?
The visions continued. On October 6, 1978, another man asked the spiritual messengers of God about a vision he’d just had: “What volcano is it that I saw, in the Pacific, I believe, smoking last night in my mind − a pointed volcano with a low crater-type volcano next to it as though two small islands in the sea?”
The spiritual messengers of God answered: “Look on the opposite side of the map from the California area that just had the earthquake and you shall find volcanic eruption — the opposite side of your globe.”
“Thank you, Aka.”
“These are written.
“As we have said before, there shall be those who shall dream dreams and those who shall interpret dreams. Now you are all dreaming, dreaming more than ever, strange dreams which you cannot understand. Bind together. Bind together.”
“Bind together” must be the important thing that we can hear — those who believe in the coming of the Messiah. We must be being told for a very important reason.
On February 10, 2021, a very large 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit near Vanatu at the island of New Caledonia, southeast of the Loyalty Islands. As Aka said, this lies on the Pacific continental plate on the “Ring of Fire” on the opposite side of California. Ray’s vision was prophetic. Was it also a sign of things yet come––perhaps the “Big One” in California?
Here is a list of the other major earthquakes in Vanatu since Ray was shown a vision in 1971 of the volcanic eruption that created an island a few days later.
Sixteen years after Ray’s vision in 1971, in 1987, the spiritual messengers of God spoke: “Yes, we see thy need, and we shall answer in this man and in this manner; glory be the name of the Lord thy God.
“And we say unto you, behold, for the time is now. The Lord, God, should say unto you, ‘For the Sixth Angel stands upon your Earth. And the earth shall be cut and separated, and where no waters were, waters shall be. Islands shall appear where no islands were.’
“And we say to you, behold, for the might of the Lord is at hand. Yet rejoice, for so is the time soon to come of he who we have come to prepare the way.” (Spiritual messengers of God, Aka, December 4, 1987)
No wonder Ray’s feeling and the dream another man had seemed important. The volcanic island may relate to Biblical prophecies.
Revelation 6:12–17 says: “And when I saw the Lamb open the sixth seal, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black like sackcloth…and the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, like unripe figs dropping from a tree shaken by a great wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’”
Revelation 7:1- 3 continues: “After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
