The Greek Lemon — August Vegan Apollo Box
August is in full force. Traditionally, Greeks spend summer days enjoying crystal clear waters, celebrating with friends & family and tasting amazing Greek summer dishes when the sun has finally set. There are no words to describe these summer feelings, unless you have visited and experienced your own Greek myth!
August also brings with it another major festival; Assumption of Virgin Mary, also known as ‘Summer Easter’ on 15th August. During this national holiday, Greeks celebrate by going to church and attending music festivals with dancing, songs, special delicacies, with each village having their own special traditions associated with the festivities.
