But the results transformed my garden.

This protects the seedlings and allows the water to soak into the soil.

I follow these watering practices to make my plants greener, produce more flowers, and grow taller.

Timing

The best times to water are early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Here’s why:

  • Watering in the early morning, before the sun rises fully, reduces evaporation loss. The water soaks deeply into the soil. It also gives plants time to absorb moisture before the day’s heat.
  • Watering in the late afternoon or early evening allows plants to hydrate after the day’s heat. There is still time to prevent fungal growth due to wet leaves overnight.
