1. Thanksgiving Day Parade: (Nov. 28) Takes place on Benjamin Parkway and North 22nd Street. America’s first Thanksgiving Day Parade features Disney characters, several floats, huge balloons, marching bands, and many other festive entertainments. The Thanksgiving Day Parade is a Philadelphia tradition and one you don’t want to miss!

2. Autumn’s Colors at Longwood Gardens: (Oct. 3- Nov. 24) This is Longwood Gardens’ annual celebration of fall. Enjoy the crisp autumn air and take a walk through their Meadow Garden and Garden Railway. Longwood’s 4-acre Conservatory transforms into a fall dream with the blooming of colorful ‘mums’. A perfect way to end the fall season.

3. Winter at Dilworth Park: (Nov. 8-Feb. 23) The ice rink opens up in the heart of Center City. After skating, you’re able to warm up indoors with snacks, cocktails, beer, and hot drinks. Holiday lights, cozy seating and seasonal plants will help you kick off this holiday season.

4. Election Day: (Nov. 5; 7 a.m.-8 p.m.) This is the day for local registered voters to exercise their right in municipal elections. In Philadelphia, roles include mayor, commissioner, and city councilor. If you’re a registered voter, you can find your registration information and designated polling place at pavoterservices.pa.gov!
