As I am sitting now right in front of my laptop, starting the write my journal for Tuesday. My mind is entirely blank. Having that writer’s block moment.

Then slowly, like the trickle of water sipping from a small crack on the wall, snippets of more significant memories start playing back in my mind.

I had my first ever meeting with a tailor to make my first ever suit. Yep, and with a mobile tailor at that.

He was my comrade in the reservist unit, I heard about what he was doing — making bespoke shirts, pants, suits, skirts —and thought “Why not test out his services?” And took the dive and did it.

We started off with the kind of impression I would like to present, and offered the colors to match it. Dark grey is the way to go for me — professional, humble, and yet in trend. He systematically went through each and every part of the suit, and gave his recommendations.

In the end, I went for a textured dark grey fabric suit which could be worn in entirety or separately. More of that once the time for fitting comes.

Once the measurements were done, we talked about each other’s business plans, and how there were areas to synergize and collaborate.

In fact, I have been wooing him for the past 7 to 8 months to get his website done up my me. Perhaps this year would be the year so. I’m certainly hopeful, and will keep hustling till it is a reality.

Continued my research on the conference website project which should be coming up, and if not, it would be one more personal project to beef up my portfolio.

I have shortlisted a couple of themes to brainstorm up the possible wireframes for the website. Next up would be getting down to the drawing board, which I would share once they are ready. A sneak peek, but nothing more!

Ended the night catching up with The Dark Tower IV: Wizards and Glass. I have been, and still, a fan of Stephen King’s novels. The daily challenge is deciding when it was enough for the day, and it never seemed it would.
