At Grove, we hope to inspire a deep, tactile appreciation for healthy, fresh food. Food you grow yourself.

But this post isn’t about our company and what we believe. It’s about hearing from people who want better food. People who are frustrated that food on American shelves isn’t healthy. It’s not good for us or for our kids, and the way it’s grown, sprayed and processed isn’t good for the environment. This is for the people who want change. For people who know that calories are cheap but nutrients are expensive.

The success of this movement — our movement — your movement — towards healthier, greener living for all, is built by giving these pioneers an avenue to express their thoughts and beliefs. We are excited to share a new video series called ‘Pioneers’ featuring stories from our Early Adopters.

These stories are meant to inspire. They’re meant to keep our team focused on what we’re doing, and, more importantly, why. They’re for us. But they’re also for you! They’re meant to make you think, to ponder. Where does your food come from? What’s in it? Do you feel disconnected? Do you want somebody else to make/grow/produce everything you consume?

Anna Gwin pets her two dogs at her home in Boston’s South End.

In this first story, we meet Anna and Joe, an industrious couple based in South Boston. They are the first family in human history to bring a child into the world with a Grove! A child who will think differently about food, about nature, and about the complex natural ecosystems that sustain life. We hope you enjoy!

We plan to release these stories on a regular basis; so stay tuned for the next episode featuring our very own Mike Zartarian later in July, and don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter to stay connected.
