Today is Balineese New Year, Nyepi.

It’s a day of complete silence, darkness and reflection. The use of electricity is not allowed, no entertainment, no nothing. Just you and your mind. Even the airport is not running today, planes aren’t even allowed in the air space. It’s literally all called off. The entire island comes to a complete stop.

Yesterday there were parades and dances, villages battling against each other in dance and grandeur. Huge statues-cum-floats, carried by some 15+ men.

And so the entirety of this weeks post is simply this:

Venture into the unknown.

Be the first, be the most innovative, be the one making mistakes. Don’t be the Guru, be the one no ones talking about absolutely crushing it.

Don’t Google, don’t spend hours reading other people passing on misinformation. Do it yourself.

Venture into the darkness.
