Learn growth hacking the growth hacker’s way

Happy new year growth hacking players!

It has been 4 months since I started my first month in growth hacking. Like other junior growth hackers, getting started with growth hacking means having difficulties in finding high quality reading channels/resources

So here are some of my best resources on growth hacking, which are used in my daily work as well as my personal research projects on growth hacking.

#1 — I don’t prioritize books as my 1st resource

Although books are a great learning tool, I don’t really stick with books as a main reading resource. I prefer using technical hacking tips to boost up my learning routine. All my references are all from online short articles, which are more time-saving and higher return.

This article is about how utilize I digital apps and social media tools to simplify my daily growth hacking learning routine.

#1 Panda app

Panda is a Chrome extension for collecting latest and trending news on growth hacking and web design. It’s light and simple to use. Instead of opening 10x web tabs at the same time (which makes me hard to focus on a single article), Panda lets me choose the best ones to without hurting PC performance.

FYI, here is my Panda growth hacking Chrome dashboard, with GrowthHackers on the #1 daily breakfast taste. :)

I can easily change my resources simply by clicking on the drop-down menu.

#2 Growth hacking @ Medium

Medium is an open blogging platform for startups, entrepreneurs, marketers, and anyone who want to share their own stories. Growth hackers are a part of this community

And here is how I find best related posts on growth hacking using Medium.

You can also click this link to redirect to growth hacking posts. If you’re also on Medium, please let me know your footprint and your stories. :)

#3 Feedly

I have too many information source to choose from, and having too many email subscriptions is not a good idea. So I pick up Feedly as my favorite news dashboard. Feedly saves my time while filtering and saving my favorite articles for further reference. Feedly is also available on iOS, so I find it superb convenient to skim news even when I’m not at my working desk.

Since i’m using free Feedly version, I can’t share this collection. So I have screenshotted my growth hacking news feed here. You can also build your own collection too.

#4 GrowthHackingIdea.com

GrowthHackingIdea.com is an invited-only email subcription for growth hacking addicts founded by Aladdin Happy. Subscriber receive a short curated article (~300 words) on growth hacking best case studies and hacking tips.

Here is a screenshot of a daily GrowthHackingIdea.com newsletter.

You can subscribe to GrowthHackingIdea newsltter via my invitation link here. :)

#5 Twitter collection

As a Twitter addict, I customized my own growth hacking news feed so that I can check for up-to-the-minute growth hacking news on early mornings. This list collects latest tweets most well-known growth hackers around the world, like Sean Ellis or Ryan Hoover. You can subscribe to my list right here.

Another great way to grab growth hacking news is by searching for #growthhacking hashtag. You can also search for other related keywords: growth hacker, growth hacking, growth marketing, etc.

If you know any resources on learning growth hacking, please let me know in the below comment section. Hope that you’ll have an exciting #growthhacking year ;)
