If you want to help put together HackRU Spring 2019, you have come to the right place!

We are always looking for new people to join our family and be a part of the Rutgers hackathon community. Please read the following information before filling out the form:

  • Newcomers are STRONGLY encouraged to join 2 teams!
  • Only CURRENT (those enrolled for the Spring 2019 semester) Rutgers — New Brunswick students are eligible to sign up.
  • You do not need to be a computer science major to help organize HackRU, but you MUST be a student at Rutgers—New Brunswick. No exceptions.

Here are descriptions and signup links for the different organizing teams for HackRU:

Day-Of Coordination and Events: Handles all the events throughout HackRU and ensures that they run smoothly

Food: Handles all the food for the event by keeping track of how much food we have and need

Volunteer & Hacker Experience (VHX): Improves hacker experience by providing strong mentorship, consistent interaction and better access to amenities for all hackers

Marketing & Design (MND): Handles all the social media and advertising for the event. Designs and develops all promotional material for HackRU

Research and Development (RND): Develops software and manages the website for current and future HackRUs

Finance: Handles communications with companies and sponsors for HackRU

Logistics: Handles the event space and buses. Ensures that the event has the space and equipment it needs. Handles the WiFi and internet connections at HackRU
