Kiwanis Club of the Haddons collects clothing and baby accessories
Are you rotating your child’s wardrobe and came to realize there are great clothes now outworn and baby accessories you no longer have a need for? The Kiwanis Club of the Haddons in partnership with Cradles to Crayons will accept your donations at the Barrington Harvest Festival on Oct. 10 and the Haddonfield Fall Festival on Oct. 17.
Acceptable clothing includes clothes sizes newborn through 14/16, coats sizes newborn through 14/16, shoes/boots/sandals from infant to adult size 10, new socks and underwear.
Acceptable supplies and accessories include cribs, bassinettes, carriers, diaper bags, strollers, high chairs, swings/rockers, pack-n-plays and car seats and booster seats less than five years old. Household baby-proofing supplies will be accepted, along with AA and C batteries.
Books, especially baby board books and chapter books for children to age 10–12, arts and crafts, and school supplies are also accepted.
For a full list of acceptable donations, along with a list of items not being accepted, please contact Kiwanis Club members Pamela DePompo at pameladepompo@aol.com or Harvey Lermack at hlermack@aol.com. All items donated will be sorted and redistributed to partnering child serving agencies in New Jersey.
