It has been over ten years since the Haddonfield Garden Club gave us “the dinosaur” by initiating HATCH, but there is still much to be done. Consider joining the Garden Club to help with maintaining the urns on Kings Highway, putting flower arrangements in the library every week, decorating the Indian King Tavern for the holidays, providing craft activities at Mabel Kay Senior Center and holding the annual Herb Sale as a fundraiser for scholarships.

The club meets the second Tuesday of every month from Sept. to June at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior at noon. Our first meeting on Sept. 12 will feature Valerie Frick, a founder of the Camden Children’s Garden. She will discuss its inception and future. The year’s highlight will be a bus trip to Longwood Gardens in June with discounts for members.
