There will a Lenten Soup Supper at 6 p.m. each Wednesday in Lent in the Parish Hall at Lutheran Church of Our Savior followed by a book study.

The book study will feature “Making Sense of the Cross” written by Dr. David Lose, president of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.

Lose is author of more than a half-dozen books. He will be at LCOS on Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m. to discuss his latest book and explore the understanding of the meaning of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.

Also, LCOS will be host on March 15 at 4 p.m. to an Adult Choir and Hymn Festival featuring more than 80 voices from four churches in Haddonfield.

Choirs from First Baptist, Grace Episcopal, First Presbyterian and Our Savior each will sing one solo anthem, while jointly singing three hymns. They will be accompanied by piano, recently refurbished pipe organ and brass quartet in the newly refreshed sanctuary.

The audience will be invited to sing along for several of the hymns.

All are invited to attend and a free will offering will be a contribution toward Feed My Starving Children.
