Obituary: Joseph H. Laphan

Haddonfield resident, Marine Corps veteran and 30-year member of borough police department died on Thursday.

On Sept. 13, 2018, age 89. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Chillemi). Loving father of Mary Ellen Buck and cherished grandfather of Roger, Keith, Kyle & Joseph Buck.

Joe was a life-long Haddonfield resident who graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Upon his return home, Joe became a Haddonfield Police Officer and served his town with dedication for 30 years.

Joe’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 10–10:45 a.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
