The Historical Society of Haddonfield hosts Annual Candlelight Dinner March 25

The Historical Society of Haddonfield will be hosting their Annual Candlelight Dinner on Wednesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at the Tavistock Country Club. A presentation on Walt Whitman’s Life in Camden will be presented by David Stedman. Stedman is a graduate of Dartmouth, former school teacher in Camden and a resident of Haddonfield. Stedman has also served as president of the Walt Whitman Association, secretary of Abraham Lincoln Foundation and historian of the St Andrew’s Society of Philadelphia. Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Tickets include dinner. They can be purchased at the HSH website with PayPal at www.haddonfieldhistory.org and the HSH office at 343 Kings Highway East. For a $75 donation your name and/or your organization will be printed in the event’s commemorative program and one meal ticket will be included.
