Young Life, a worldwide youth outreach organization, is celebrating 75 years of impacting kids’ lives. The local area Young Life here in Haddonfield invites you to join in the celebration by getting involved with the local ministry. Young Life is always looking for more caring adults in the community to help reach more high school students.

Young Life has a long legacy of effective work with kids and a reputation for excellence among adults worldwide. Since its start in Gainesville, Texas in 1941, Young Life has been making a difference in the lives of millions of kids around the world. The combination of local support, proven methods of relating to adolescents, and organizational strength allows Young Life to thrive locally in more that 75 countries, with more than 3,000 staff and 35,000 volunteers, reaching more than a million kids each year with the life-changing message of God’s love for them.

Worldwide, Young Life is mainly a volunteer-led organization and Camden County Young Life is no exception. Through weekly meetings called “Campaigners,” summer camps and fun activities, Young Life leaders build unconditional relationships with teenagers and model God’s love. For most kids, Young Life is a person; a person who keeps showing up, cheering them on when things are good and listening when they’re not. Young Life invites you to be that person. Young Life has its sights set to grow in its ability to reach out to the youth here for years to come and is looking for more adults who care about kids to join in in Young Life efforts. Getting involved as a member of the local adult volunteer group or financially supporting the local Young Life chapter are two great ways to help Young Life continue to grow here in Haddonfield.
