busted water lead

even bad situations

can bring some beauty

The pipe bringing water into the building that I work in busted underneath the entranceway into the parking lot last week. While the situation caused more than a bit of difficulty for me professionally, it provided beautiful input for the senses — watching the water bubble up into a column and spill over, listening to water flow like a creek down the hillside, smelling the odor or wet earth. I’m glad that our unintentional water feature is no longer causing us grief, but I’m appreciative of the beauty it did bring while it existed.
