they frolic and glide
remind us how to play then
swim off with a smile

Sometimes when you need it most, nature throws a little sign your way to let go of any thoughts that weigh heavily. These amazing creatures embody playful fun. I love that they travel in groups and always have a smile. One day I was dangling my feet off the bow of a sailboat, enjoying the view on a crossing to Catalina Island. A pod of dolphins came up, jumping and playing in the bow waves and one actually brushed the bottom of my foot. What an amazing nudge from nature! To not over think it, to let it just be what it is, to let go and play!
