Adele, “Skyfall”

Adele’s eagerly anticipated Bond-movie theme song was released at 0:07 today, British time. (Double oh seven, get it, yuk yuk.) It’s a little too swoony and schmaltzy for me, but that doesn’t seem to be the general consensus. (I also can’t stop hearing “let the sky fow, let it crumbow,” etc., but that’s its own thing.) The single is available on iTunes for $1.29, and Skyfall, the movie, is due out November 9 in the U.S. (and October 26 in the U.K.).
