The spacey Icelandic dream-pop band picked this video, for their song “Fjögur Píanó,” as the overall winner of their Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, in which “fans, film-makers, and video directors” had been encouraged to make videos about whatever the songs on their Valtari album made them feel. Anafelle Liu, Dio Lau, and Ken Ngan directed this one, and four more videos, presumably from the band itself, are scheduled to premiere over the next two months. All 12 previous fan-made, band-selected music videos can be seen here.

For a less skin-drippy start to the week, NPR is currently streaming Charles Mingus’s The Jazz Workshop Concerts, 1964–65, due out October 30, which is an “assortment of live recordings, some of them previously unreleased,” per NPR, that serve as “a monumental example of how a jazz great dedicated his life to his art.” It’s excellent.
