One Direction last performed together on a Sunday night, Dec. 13th, 2015, on the season finale of the British iteration of “The X Factor.” They sang a single from their fifth album, accepted accolades from Simon Cowell and others, and then vanished into the night to begin a hiatus with no end-date. Between them, in the months since they last took the stage, they have officially announced very little — four solo record deals, the birth of a child, the founding of a golf management company. But each week they are out in the world, doing things, going places. This is what we know.

Niall Horan got into cooking this week, making a chicken, some salmon, and a protein shake. Fans criticized his roast chicken for not having seasoning on, which he refuted, twice. On Saturday, he attended Oliver Spencer’s fashion show, where he sat next to McFly’s Dougie Poynter. He grammed from the show twice and Snapchatted his fav looks. His hair is now fully brown.

On Friday, Harry Styles popped up in London. On Sunday, he had a meal with his family.

Louis Tomlinson was not spotted out this week; he also did not post on social media.

Liam Payne was also not seen this week, either IRL or on social media.

Notable Adjacent News

Ed Sheeran, who has written songs for One Direction, released two new singles on Friday. Niall Horan tweeted about the drop, saying, “He’s Back !” and “Castle on the hill is my kind of song . . Reminds me of home.

Gemma Styles, sister of Harry Styles, is sick and bored.
