Space News: Vampire Alien Doom Beach

This weekend ROSAT the out-of-commission German satellite plummeted to “its doom” somewhere in Southeast Asia; a meteorite that also plummeted to its doom (unrelated, presumably) was mistaken for a crashing plane in England; “comet-seeded alien oceans could be common,” and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) put in an order for what some are calling “swarming robot space vampires.” Whoa!
