Tiny House or Big Ball

The tiniest new tiny house is the “Noah,” a “mini-ark” built by the small Japanese company Cosmo Power to withstand tsunamis, earthquakes, and floods. From the AP: “Company president Shoji Tanaka says the capsule can hold four adults, and that it has survived many crash tests. It has a small lookout window and breathing holes on top. It also can be used as a toy house for children.” The main design element appears to be a single steel pole — no tiny beds, tiny stoves, tiny shelves, or tiny sinks, disappointingly. There’s also not a huge amount of room for animals. Here is an additional picture of a man emerging from one. (Each Noah costs about $4,000.)
