How to Not Care About What Other People Think of You and Live the Life You Want
It’s not as simple as it may be to some who may think so. In order to get on your way towards this goal, you must allow anything unwanted and uncomfortable to you and to accept what you will experience and feel along the way. Accept that not everything you will go through along the way you will like nor approve of.
A lot of things we all go through in reality isn’t fair nor a lot aren’t in our control nor should anyone ever try to make it change in our control. Because it will create a mess, therefore making a mess because you messed with nature.
This weekend is my 5 years being a part of the Happier Community! I absolutely love, admire and appreciate all Happier and everyone in it including Nataly Kogan has done for me in my life! I have to also add that Happier and all Happiers are one of the many people on my list of those who have saved my life with my mental health struggles and depression.
For all it has saved me from and all that Happier has taught me: one example being able to count the small moments which contributes to our happiness, as per before I was only focusing on the big moments contributing to my own happiness, I know so much more and I couldn’t have done it without everyone here in the Happier community!
Thank you Nataly for all you’ve done and for creating this amazing community and platform!
Nothing in life is easy nor is perfect and that will never change. But why we can do is accept and embrace the imperfect life that we can love as long as we let it. If you let and give nature its power and space to do its natural course, you will be rewarded instead of being messed with.
If you mess with nature, it will mess with you. And you don’t get to choose what you get as a punishment: mess. The only choice you get to make is whether or not you give nature a reason to mess with you or not.
Judgements only hold us back from becoming the person we want to be and achieving all that we have always wanted in life when we choose to give in to that power:
But even though so many people out there tell us what they think of us, and what we should be and do with our lives and what’s wrong and right in life: we should always listen to the voice in our head, our heart, soul and gut. What is it telling you?
Here are some posts I have posted on my Tumblr blog: check them out!
Risks = the change you want in your life!
Taking risks isn’t easy to accomplish or even start planning, working on to make the change you want in your life. Especially when your life isn’t what you wanted or expected to be. Even if some people close to you like your family may be against the things you want to take risks to achieve and gain with your life, you should still focus on the pros of why you want to take this risk in gaining a better life.
So I’ve decided to start taking my own risks to get the right kind of change that I’ve been wanting in my life for years now but more now that I’ve accomplished the end of my recovery.
Optimism – something I’ve felt for the past couple few months and I’m honestly never felt more confident and proud to be an optimist! And I don’t care who knows and what anyone has to say because regardless what anyone says, I’m still gonna be who I want to be (now that I’ve finally decided to stop letting people as close to me as family from holding me back from becoming and embracing the person I truly want to be and achieve my personal life goals that make me proud, happy, confident, optimistic, beautiful in only positive ways! And this time I’m not giving up nor anything else that may stop me in the process. I don’t care anymore.
I like who I want to be and all that I have always dreamed of achieving with my life and I won’t follow anyone that is against this or tries to convince me not to go through with this. Like Justin Bieber said “If I can’t be who I want to be and do what I wanna do, then I’m not gonna be happy” and that to me is wise inspiration! So no one can hold me back with something as wise as Justin Bieber! And in conclusion here, I would like to say that I don’t stop nor let what the haters say dictate how I live my life!
Inspiring people is something I’ve only been great at and have had accomplishments in the past 2 – 3 years. And I honestly love how I’ve impacted those lives that have messaged me or mentioned me in a post on Tumblr stating that one or many of my posts have helped them feel better, make their day or save them from serious life situations. And that really makes me feel so great and amazing inside and only are reasons why I should follow that power, that feeling.
I should continue inspiring others, they said it themselves. It’s proven and I’m not gonna give that passion and dream up just because my own family are against it in all odds. Thank you mom, dad and Emily for all you’ve taught me throughout my 19 almost 20 years but this is what I want, what makes me happiest, confident, proud & passionate about and I’m gonna pursue that more than I’ve ever done!
I have noticed that I’m really good with putting anything into my own amazing, inspiring, beautiful perspective.
Yeah, sure many people in the world may be stubborn and choose not to act in positive ways from what they hear from us but one way or another, they’ll find themselves understanding it from our new and improved perspectives that not only are powerful but strong enough to change their perspectives in life and themselves too!
You’d be surprised at how much changes in all reality when you set your mind to inspiring others to see things and think differently – creatively. Be optimistic and see what happens! I garantee you won’t be disappointed.
Why is there so much pressure in going to school so early? Sometimes parents just go too far over the line when it comes to our future in a career that we’d be passionate and/or happy to work as for years of our lives. It’s not healthy for our mental health. And it’s never the way to demand change in our lives. You are supposed to inspire change instead. That’s the healthy and right choice to get it!
What is a girl possible or capable of in the world when she sets her mind to something? Anything and absolutely everything!
Don’t think logically, think creatively! There’s always a way to fix or create something when you think creatively and openly. There’s always a way according to lawyers like stated and proven from Drop Dead Diva in season 6. Is one example that nothing is impossible. That anything is possible when you not only open yourself to thinking differently, but also better and new change in the world.
And no message could have been any clearer. If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make a change. – Michael Jackson.
Don’t think logically, think creatively.
The more times you try to get ideas, the more active your brain becomes and the more creative you become.
Ask yourself every time you fail at something:
- What have I learned about what doesn’t work?
- - What have I discovered that I didn’t set out to discover?
Interpret your own experiences. All experiences are neutral. They have no meaning. You give them meaning by the way you choose to interpret them.
Once Thomas Edison was approached by an assistant while working on the filament for the light bulb. The assistant asked Edison why he didn’t give up. “After all,” he said, “you have failed 5000 times.” Edison looked at him and told him that he didn’t understand what the assistant meant by failure, because, Edison said, “I have discovered 5000 things that don’t work.” You construct your own reality by how you choose to interpret your experiences.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” – Albert Einstein
At some point in our lives, we will believe that what’s worth the price is always worth the fight. Just remember what you’ll gain in the end. The results. What you want out of it, will be your motivation to follow through it no matter how hard or challenging it can get.
Twinkle lights are the perfect metaphor for joy. Joy is not a constant. It comes to us in moments – often ordinary moments. Sometimes we miss out on the bursts of joy because we’re too busy chasing down extraordinary moments. Other times we’re so afraid of the dark that we don’t dare let ourselves enjoy the light.
A joyful life is not a floodlight of joy. That would eventually become unbearable.
I believe a joyful life is made up of joyful moments gracefully strung together by trust, gratitude, inspiration, & faith.
I’ve been reading Brene Brown’s book (The Gifts Of Imperfection) all the way through. I’ve finished the book, and I’m really learning a lot on top of being able to relate and understand a lot of things with my own experiences; in the book. I’m not ashamed for reading self-help/self-care kind of books!
“But the beauty that still remains. Try to recapture the happiness with itself. Think of all the beauty in everything around you and be happy!” ~ Anne Frank
Many people are able to believe in themselves. Whereas others have trouble. They find it hard to believe in themselves as they think that it won’t get them closer to their dreams or what they want in life. Or sometimes even people’s thoughts on what they should do which gives them the thoughts of refusing to believe in themselves. They feel they don’t have a say in something like that in life. They also think that if they try to believe in themselves, that it may not succeed and would lead to a failed attempt. Which they choose to decide not to try again. They instantly give up on something they have pride, motivation and high priority in.
Something like that should never be ignored. If you ever feel struggle in anything you want to achieve in life, try asking people you trust for advice on what you should do (mentally) to make it able to achieve without focusing on what others think about them. Nothing anyone says about that, should never effect what you choose at all times.
“Learning from the people you care about is more important than the words on any page.” ~ Cory Mathews
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom
Taking time for myself to just think, analyse, and just be insightful about so many things.
Mistakes. We’ve all made them. In fact, we think it makes us inhuman sometimes even. I’ve made many of them too. And I’ve at many times, beat myself up for making them. And sometimes I get scared about making a mistake. But we can’t be scared of life. Part of life is making mistakes and what you are able to learn from. What you can take from those mistakes to make you stronger and wiser in only healthy ways.
I also feel that taking some time to yourself to really think, analyse and figure out things that you may not have seen the previous times to see what it can give you in return. Sometimes, being able to really think back to a time when we made a mistake or any life event, we are more able to have more insightful thoughts, and conclusions to those that we weren’t aware of at first. Sometimes, it takes many times before we get it right. And we can’t be hard on ourselves for that. Life isn’t perfect and nor is anything or anyone that’s part of our world.
But I’ve been having many insightful thoughts lately for I feel there’s a lot I have plenty of insights on. And that I also feel that I need to do figure things out that I may not have been aware of. I need to as for it feels right for myself, and it feels good when I do!
Everyone dreams of almost anything out there. Some people believe some of their dreams are too big and have no chance of them living. So instead of trying to achieve their dreams, they just give up and achieve the dreams that they believe they can live.
But in all reality, any dream is possible to live no matter how big they may seem to be.
If you dream of doing something with your life but feel limited or that it may be a one and a million shot of living, well your wrong. Anything you want in life, can be achievable. Anyone can do anything they want no matter what else you may think of it nor what others may tell you about them. The things you believe in always have a meaning and always can be lived no matter what they may be.
Put everything in all you do in life. Do everything as if you were on a stage and the audience has all their attention on you.
Never think you are limited of what you can do with your life. No one should ever be limited when it comes to life in all perspectives. Never give up nor lose faith, hope or belief in yourself. You can do anything that you put your mind to.
Make the things you touch, turn to love. And everything you do, open up heaven!
Believe you can do anything and know you are “never” limited of anything that applies.
Never focus on what others will think if you do what you believe in. Our parents teach us to stand up and fight for what we believe in. Well start standing up for what you believe in. But at some times in life, you shouldn’t focus on what others will think. You should focus mainly on what you want in life and nothing else. If you want something and someone may be “trying” to stop you from doing that, fight against their statements. They should never affect what you choose to do with your life.
They can have a say in something but you also have the right to choose what you think is best for you rather than what they suggest for you. Whatever they may suggest, what you want is normally the right choice. Never choose their choice.
Some people have dreams for months before actually achieving them. But what u can realize is that they never gave up on their dreams. They know what they want and they set their mind to it until they live it.
Live your life the way you want. And never by what others want you to. You have control of what you do in life. Make it yours and no one else’s.
What kind of freedom do you want?
Many people have courage even when they don’t feel it. Others are able to find it and use it to the best of their ability.
Some believe they need courage in themselves to get further to achieving their dreams or conquering their fears. They have the right to believe that. For those who can’t find that courage/strength in them, help them out. Help them find their courage by putting them in a situation where you would use courage/strength. And see what happens. See if they choose to use their strength/courage to fight the current/the hate or whatever it may be.
If you want, give them something to think about, something they may hate about the world or anything they may feel limited in life. Anything. Use that feeling to help get their courage/strength out to show/prove to the world who they messed with and what they’re made of. Do that! Show them what you can do! They will realize who they messed with and maybe even apologize for messing with them in the first place. Don’t think it isn’t necessary for those who judge/mess with people’s lives to apologize for what they did.
In conclusion, courage can have such a huge effect on you once you use it! You will be amazed at what and where it gets you in life! Don’t hide it, use it to get what you want in life! Anything you want is possible! Never be limited of how far or what you can get in life. No one can make anyone feel limited in any and all situations in life.
I suppose the theory is that with God’s forgiveness for what you’ve done in the past and God forgives everything. You can always start over. No matter what you’ve done.
This is about your life. This is about your beliefs. If you wanna be forgiven and commit to a life of abstinence & purity, then do it!
But I do think that once you make a promise to God, that promise is a real commitment. You don’t just say it to say it.
So think about it. If that’s what you want, ask God to forgive you. Whether you do that by yourself, or with my help (minister) or the help of someone else. And you are on the way to a new beginning.
