German numbers: Counting from 0 to 1000 in Deutsch

The most important German numbers for you to learn are the numbers 1 to 12. With those numbers, you can get by in most situations and more or less tell the time.

Firstly, there’s zero, which is “null”. And now, here are the numbers 1 to 12 in German:

1 — eins
2 — zwei
3 — drei
4 — vier
5 — fünf
6 — sechs
7 — sieben
8 — acht
9 — neun
10 — zehn
11 — elf
12 — zwölf

You can use these numbers with this phrase:

Es ist ___ Uhr
It is ___ o’clock
