Stop should-ing on yourself

“The work you do while you procrastinate is the work you should probably be doing for the rest of your life.” Jessica Hische

After a day spent in the woods with a lazy guru (more on that here), I’ve realised that almost any bit of work I’ve ever done that has been worthwhile has felt:

  1. Voluntary
  2. Exciting
  3. Impulsive

Which begs the question: Are to-do lists at all helpful for our big ideas?

Will our companies crumble without them?

Or will scrapping them free us up to make our biggest contribution?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.
