It’s Almost Time!

Small Creators Fest (SCF) is upon us! As a reminder, it will take place between November 8–14, 2021. Here’s what you need to know. We can’t wait to see all of you online again soon.

First—we’re going to have a bunch of great panels. We’re still working out a few things but don’t worry, as soon as everything is confirmed, we’ll let you know what the details are. In the meantime, don’t forget to bookmark this link so you can stay in the know once everything goes live. Stay tuned to our social media and email communication channels for more information.

A creator practices their craft.

There are going to be three main events:

  • Creators and Capitalism: Running a business isn’t always easy. Go behind the scenes with fan creators in this panel as they talk about designing around franchises, working for social justice, and dealing with the realities of having to promote on very flawed platforms like Facebook.
  • “Make it Live!”: Have you always wondered what it took to create fan art? We’ve got the perfect panel for you. “Make it Live!” will feature a creator making their art live while we chat so everyone can learn how it’s done. Don’t forget to share your creations online and tag the panelists in your posts so we can see how everyone did and share the love.
  • Becoming a Creator and Building an Audience: It’s never too late to become a creator. This panel will give you the insight and inspiration you need to get started and how you can build and grow an audience. You’ve got this. We’re so excited about the journey you’re about to embark on.

In addition to the panels, there will also be interviews with our friends at This Star Won’t Go Out and other small creators. Here’s a sneak peek at our vendor hall. Vendors include This Star Won’t Go Out, Black Girls Create, CodiesCreationsArt, Badgerwick, puncheeArt, National Novel Writing Month (which is going on now), Jayme Twins, The Protego Foundation, Wizards in Space Literary Magazine, and more!
