Give yourself permission to enjoy the holidays

Maybe you know exactly what to do this X-mas and don’t need anyone to tell you to enjoy the holidays. But if you are anything like me, December is also a stressful month in which everything needs to happen before the big day: the work needs to be finished, presents need to be bought (maybe also sent), family trips planned, and so on.

This year especially I feel like I am in an in-between space: the pandemic is still raging and we are trying to reduce contact, but we are also expected to go about our lives as in the pre-pandemic times. At least that’s what’s happening in Germany. It’s very confusing because I feel like going on a full-on lockdown Christmas spirit like I did last year, but I just don’t have time to do anything Christmasy. This post is my attempt to remedy that and a note to self that nothing is more important than enjoying X-mas this year.

Here are 4 cutesy things I am looking forward to doing in December, explained in comics. I hope you will too find time to enjoy them.

1. Enjoy the Christmas spirit and forget about work
