9 Fall Decor Ideas to Distract You from How Few Sick Days You Have Left

(Pumpkin) spice things up with these fun fall tips!

1) Don’t have time to visit a pumpkin patch this year? No worries! Make a tiny pumpkin patch on your desk with tiny desk pumpkins. Gourdeous!

2) Sprinkling your desk with pine cones will have your coworkers muttering “look at you, you crafty little forest nymph” as they pass by your desk.

3) ’Tis the season…for seasonal allergies. Be sure to stock your desk full of these little cuties.

4) Sitting behind a computer for 8 hours every day can really make you miss the whimsy of an autumn romp in the leaves. String a few leaves around your desk and, voila! You’re working from inside your own little leaf pile.

5) Of course, nothing says fall quite like sinus problems. For a fun, vintage look, dust off the antibiotic prescription you didn’t finish last year.

6) “Rustic Pumpkin”, “Warm Cider” and “Cinnamon Dreams” are autumn classics. Put that Bath and Body Works gift card balance to good use this fall and light up your office with the sweet smells of fall.

7) If we’re talking fall smells, no list is complete without Vicks VapoRub. Keep a jar of that sweet, sweet rub at your desk. Reminisce on the times when Mama would rub that tingly goo on your tummy. Think of the days when you could just stay home and rest when you were sick and not have to worry about cutting into vacation time.

8) Aw! Tiny reminders of how this lingering fall illness makes you feel inside! Remember a couple days ago when you thought this was just allergies?

9) No working gal’s desk is complete without caffeine. This fall flavor upper/downer combo might cancel itself out, but hey, it’s worth a shot (or a double-shot if you’re an espresso fiend like me)!
