A Foolproof Way to Getting Blocked

At least by me, but most likely by many others too

Getting blocked is easy, all you need to do is follow these simple steps. Start by responding to a post you don’t agree with or a writer you dislike for reasons that have nothing to do with their writing. Then do this:

  1. Call them a ‘snowflake.’ You can add an adjective, such as ‘fucking’ or ‘stupid’ for a stronger impact and increased chances of getting blocked.
  2. If you don’t care for the ‘snowflake,’ use any other derogatory term you can come up with. A ‘whiner,’ for instance, would do equally well.
  3. Make it clear that your opinion is worth infinitely more then theirs could ever be. Don’t bother to make it clear why, it’s more than enough that you firmly believe this to be so.
  4. The notion that they have no right to criticise something you personally approve of must be evident from your response. Make sure they get that!
  5. Instead of addressing their points and starting a healthy debate, accuse them of whining and complaining. Be harsh, tell them in their face you won’t tolerate this.
  6. To increase your chances of getting blocked instantly, use a patronizing tone in addition to all of the above. You can also call them ‘sweetie,’ especially if they are older than you and you don’t even know them.

That’s all there is to it. As you can see, it’s a no-brainer, really, anyone can do it. Now get to work and good luck with getting blocked!
